Intro Level Info Dressage to Music

TIME ALLOWED:

Minimum of 3 1/2 minutes maximum of 4 minutes

MUSIC:

INTRO LEVEL COMPULSORY MOVEMENTS FOR TECHNICAL MARKS:

• 10m half circle to the left in medium walk
• 10m half circle to the right in medium walk
• Medium walk (minimum 20 m)
• Free walk on a long rein (minimum 20m)
• Working trot left with Circle left 20m  diameter
• Working trot right with Circle right 20m  diameter
• On a 20m circle in trot allow the horse to stretch for a minimum of 20m
• Fluency of transitions
• Entry and halt at the start and the halt at the end

NON-COMPULSORY MOVEMENTS:

• Circles and half circles of any size
• Give and retake the reins

PROHIBITED MOVEMENTS:  

• Medium and extended trot
• Canter
• Rein back  
• Reins in one hand
• Lateral work of any sort  
• Reins in one hand  
• Walk pirouettes/half pirouettes Piaffe 
• Passage
