TIME ALLOWED:

Minimum of 41/2 minutes maximum of 5 minutes

ELEMENTARY LEVEL COMPULSORY MOVEMENTS FOR TECHNICAL MARKS:

• Medium walk (minimum 20 m)
• Free walk on a long rein (minimum 20m)
• Circle left 10m diameter in working trot
• Circle right 10m diameter inworking trot
• Medium trot
• Leg yield left in trot
• Leg yield right in trot
• Working canter left including circle 15m diameter
• Working canter right including circle 15m diameter
• Medium canter
• Simple change left to right
• Simple change right to left
• Entry and halt at the start and the halt at the end

NON-COMPULSORY MOVEMENTS:

• Circles and half circles of any size
• Give and retake the reins
• Change of leg through trot
• Stretching in trot and canter
• Rein back
• Counter canter in any form
• Large half walk pirouettes 
• Counter changes of hand in leg yield 
• Canter to halt 
• Shoulder in

PROHIBITED MOVEMENTS: 

• Reins in one hand
• All lateral work other than leg yield and shoulder in
• Simple changes
• Flying changes
• Walk pirouettes more than 180 degrees
• Canter pirouettes/half pirouettes
• Piaffe
